I am grateful to my girl. She got us out the door to see these majestic beauties, before their flowers faded, and the next storm blew away their bloom.
Because of the trials presented by COVID-19, my family took a road trip. We were willing to go to great lengths to deliver the precious cargo, my mother-in-law, unharmed. The cookies were a sweet bonus.

Like every child had a personality and every painting I create, so does each MJR. Each one is similar, but different. This month vacillated between big things, like major surgery in the big city of Chicago for my girl, and little things like being a homebound nursemaid for weeks.
My creative spirit and sense of adventure kicked in and I put some water in the blender, hit the button, and whirled it hot! I then triumphantly proceeded to pour the hot water on the ice cream to melt it. I am quite sure this wasn’t an efficient use of my time, but I did amuse myself and learned to use my blender better in the process!
