Like Sonya, I have been busy with other creative endeavors that have kept me from writing posts (temporarily). However, the Three Line Tales challenge gives me the outlet for a quick post and a mental stretch akin to getting up from the computer to take a physical stretch.
This picture is so red, using that word was too literal for me. Instead of the word red, this haiku was inspired by “something” besides the image. I don’t want to give it away. See if you can figure it out before looking here.
I’m misunderstood.
I’m not a little teapot.
I make coffee. Stout!
Did you figure it out?
Thank you to Sonya of Only 100 Words for continuing your Three Line Tales challenge amidst your many creative endeavors!

Reminds me of a nursery rhyme that my children loves. Nice one!
Thanks!
Totally! I love these lines 🙂 I’m fraying at the edges too and am thankful for Sonya’s weekly challenge to pull me back in….I’ve missed you guys!
Ha! Very sweet. I remeber doing that with my son when he was younger. Been doing CampNaNo, so know exaclty how you feel 🙂
Good luck w camp!
Thank you! Just finished and thoroughly enjoyed it and exceeded my goal too. Great fun 🙂
Yep, I remember singing it at rhyme time in the library while the kiddo ran around the bookshelves… Funnily enough, it looks like a coffee pot to me, too. Glad you found time to join TLT 🙂
Cute rendition of the song, in your link. I’m afraid I’m not firing on all cylinders today, because I thought your clue meant you were a coffee pot instead of a tea pot. Or maybe an espresso machine, since you said “Stout!” But the song turned out to be the teapot song anyway. Haha! You got me on that one for sure. : )
I would be an espresso machine:). Thanks!
Oh, yay! I got it after all. Sweet.
