When I had to cut down the fallen sunflowers, I was upset that the sunflowers didn’t have fully developed heads. I wanted the birds to have the seeds. I took the largest head and put it on the birdbath. To my surprise, when I went out to the garden to get tomatoes the following day, there were seeds in there! The birds found them and are happy. So am I.

Thank you! It is great, when we get sweet surprises. I assumed that the sunflower had been ruined before it’s prime. And, I don’t even know why I put the head in the birdbath. There was a reason and I learned the rest of the story! Thanks for commenting:).
